Fluke Clamp Meters
Clamp meters from Fluke Corporation feature an integrated
clamp which is more convenient to use and more cost-effective than a multimeter with accessory current
probe.
A clamp meter is an electrical test device with a clamp on
the end that looks like two jaws. This feature allows the unit to open for attaching around an electrical
conductor for testing. The electrical current in the conductor can then be
easily measured without having to make physical contact with it or disconnect it for insertion through the probe.
Some types of current clamp can induce current in the conductor.
