A clamp meter is an electrical tester that
combines a voltmeter with a clamp type current meter. Clamp meters from Fluke
Corporation feature an integrated clamp which is more convenient to use and more cost-effective than a multimeter
with accessory current probe. The clamp meter functions much like a
Digital Multimeter, but with the added feature of a current transformer built into the product.
The clamp part of the device allows the unit to open
for attaching around an electrical conductor for testing. The electrical current
in the conductor can then be easily measured without having to make physical contact with it or disconnect it for
insertion through the probe. Some types of current clamp can induce current in the
conductor.
There are several
different brands of clamp meters on the market, including Fluke products, which are among the most popular among
service technicians and electricians. Fluke offers several a number of different models,
including the 321, 322, 334, 337, 345, 360, and 902 clamp meter units.
Fluke 360 AC Leakage
Current Clamp Meter. Designed for non-invasive checks of
insulation condition, The Fluke 360 leakage tester provides an accurate solution for current leakage measurement.
The Fluke 360 leakage meter allows testing without powering down the installation or disconnecting equipment. This
saves time without compromising on quality or safety.
Fluke 345 Power
Quality Clamp Meter. The Fluke 345 Power Quality Clamp Meter
combines a combination power analyzer, power quality logger, and clamp meter into one compact unit ideal for
monitoring electronic loads. The unit features a bright color power meter display, a low-pass filter, and a high
EMC immunity design - perfect for troubleshooting the power quality of switching loads. DC current measurement can
be performed without having to break the circuit with the power meter, thanks to the Hall Effect clamp meter
design. This unit also has the advantage of internal memory capacity that enables long-term power quality logging
for analysis of intermittent problems and trends.
Fluke 902 True-rms
HVAC Clamp Meter. A service tool that can keep up with the
demanding needs of all HVAC technicians. The Fluke 902 is an addition to the Fluke line of clamp meters that
provides the features necessary to diagnose and repair HVAC systems. The 902 model helps technicians do their jobs
safely and accurately by combining True RMS technology and a CAT III 600 V rating.
Fluke 16/322 HVAC
Combo Kit. A complete HVAC troubleshooting solution that
provides the ability to find and solve problems quickly and efficiently. The 16/322 HVAC Combo Kit contains all of
the needed accessories an HVAC professional would need in a compact carrying case.
